New York Museum of Transportation

HELP OUT

Volunteer: Members of the museum are eligible to participate in museum operations and projects. The scope of activities runs from the sedentary to the physical, can involve working with the public or not, requires a wide range of skills as well as unskilled labor. Would you like to train as a trolley motorman? Sell tickets and staff the Gift Shop? Become an expert in trolley restoration? Drive the fire truck in a summer parade? Help maintain our buildings, mow the lawn, patch the roof? The opportunities are many, and the fun of working together as we save history for the delight of our visitors brings a special feeling of accomplishment. Call or e-mail us to join in the fun!
