Halloween Trolley Express
Sunday, October 24, 2021
Join us for a trip to the Pumpkin Patch where you will enjoy apple cider and donuts and choose a pumpkin from the patch to decorate and take home. Come in your costume if you like and do trick or treating in the museum's trolley cars (totes provided). There will be live music and our Spooky Halloween Walk in the model train room.
Face masks are required to be worn (not a Halloween character mask) that covers both your nose and mouth while in the museum and on the trolley at this event! This event is suitable for all ages and is not scary!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to current COVID-19 conditions, all cars will be operated as "Open Air Cars". Windows will be open through out the entire ride.
THE CAR IS NOT HEATED!
The experience will take approximately just over one hour, the cost is $15/adult and $12/child age 2 - 12. All passengers, regardless of size or age must have a valid ticket (except those 1 year of age and younger sitting on a lap).
Guests should plan on arriving at least 15 minutes before their scheduled departure time for The Halloween Trolley Express.
Due to current COVID-19 conditions all attendees, age 3 and over, are asked to wear a face mask that covers their mouth and nose to help stop the spread of COVID-19 especially since children under the age of 12 are not vaccinated. In addition we recommend you wear your mask even outdoors while at the event due to its close nature. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Due to the historic nature of our equipment, The Halloween Trolley Express is NOT handicapped accessible. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Inclement Weather, Refunds and Cancellations
All tickets are non-refundable unless a train is canceled. Trains are canceled only in the case of extreme inclement weather as defined by the museum, and/or equipment failure.
About the Halloween Trolley Express
The New York Museum of Transportation operates the Halloween Trolley Express as a fund raising event, with funds used to maintain the Museum and its collection of antique railcars.

Seating is provided for two adults or the equivalent per seat. By virtue of the historic equipment utilized, no specific seats can be reserved, and community seating is practiced.
