Help Replace the Culvert

Recently a partially collapsed culvert pipe was discovered under the museum railroad track. Replacement work has been completed and the cost has run to tens of thousands of dollars. Donations to help with this unexpected expense will be appreciated.

The location of the collapse was close to Midway station, the end of our trolley line, so we were still able to provide trolley rides for our visitors during this busy season. We were fortunate to have our track contractor, already on scene for scheduled tie replacement, to remove the track, perform the excavation and pipe replacement, and put the railroad back together.

While we appreciate your generosity at membership renewal time, we hope you'll consider a donation to help with this urgent situation.

On line donations can be made through the PayPal link below or at the attached QR code below. Checks to New York Museum of Transportation can be mailed to P.O. Box 136, West Henrietta, NY 14586. Thank you for your continuing support for NYMT.
